Parking by the Minute Campaign

 

I am fighting for fairer car parking charges at the Royal Cornwall Hospital Treliske. Last year, I had to make frequent visits to see my mother and I believe the minimum parking charge of £2.10 for two hours is excessive and unfair.

 

I am campaigning for a ‘Parking per Minute’ charge to be introduced. This technology is used very effectively in other parts of the world and would be the fairest way of charging those who have to use the car park because of illness, accessibility or necessity.

 

There is a strong feeling in Cornwall that these charges are unfair – I am working with hospital management to change the current system. If you agree with this and would like to support my campaign please fill out my online petition form now.
